What do Ben Affleck, Casey Affleck and a cardboard cutout of Ana de Armas all have in common? Well, nothing apparently.
Last week, The Daily Mail published photos of a mystery man throwing out a life size cardboard cutout of Ana de Armas, shortly after news broke that BenAna had split.
Of course, rumours emerged around who that man was, and people started pointing the finger at Ben Affleck’s brother, Casey Affleck.

The theory was definitely clutching because the man pictured is literally in a landscaper uniform, but I LOVE the drama of it being Casey.

But it definitely isn’t him, because Casey spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the allegations and squashed the rumour.
“No, that’s not me, and I can’t even really say if they have totally broken up for good or whatever. I would leave that to them to speak to,” Casey said.
“A bunch of people sent that picture to me and I was gonna tweet some, like, joke, response or something. And then I couldn’t think of one and a joke didn’t seem appropriate. And I don’t have Twitter so that wasn’t going to work. But it definitely wasn’t me.
“The reality is, I think that this year has been really hard on people in relationships.
“I wouldn’t know because I’ve been single, but I bet there are a lot of people that have, you know, it’s been challenging to relationships.”
Who would’ve thought cardboard cutouts could cause so much drama? Well, me, because I once had to track down a missing Kim Kardashian and Dr. Phil cardboard cutout, and after two days of searching I discovered it was the Uni cleaners who threw them out. BUT aside from me, literally no one else would think that.
