State Treasurer Mike Baird has been unanimously elected the 44th Premier of New South Wales, following yesterday’s shock yet casually hilarious resignation of noted sommelier, Barry O’Farrell.
Baird stood for the leadership unopposed alongside now-elected Deputy Leader and Transport Minister Gladys Berejiklian, and is expected be sworn in at 5:30pm today.
Until then, pour one out for Baz, and another one for yourself.
