Campaign Group For Mike Baird’s Premiership Apologises For ‘Being Wrong’

We are happy to hazard a vague guess that NSW Premier Mike Baird is having a bit of a rough time right now.

After posting his ‘the lockout laws are working and I won’t hear another word about it!’ Facebook post, he’s faced a loooooot of backlash. Baird previously had one of the highest ratings for a State Premier, which we daresay has dropped a reasonable amount in the last week.
‘Cool dad’ vibe has vanished completely, and Sydney-siders have been left with ‘strict Catholic dad who doesn’t let you out the house’ vibes. Blegh.
But now, to make matters worse for him, a group of his biggest supporters have turned on him.
Facebook page called ‘Mike Baird for NSW Premier’, which campaigned for him when he was running for Premiership after Barry O’Farrell‘s resignation, has posted to Facebook that they’ve changed their minds.
The post outlines why they thought Baird was good for Sydney and NSW, and then clearly states that they ‘were wrong’.
“To all residents of NSW we are sorry for campaigning for Mike Baird. We were wrong and please forgive us.”

This page was created following the resignation of Barry O’Farrell as NSW premier. We created it as a grassroots call…
