Mother Nature Loses It At NSW Overnight: Unleashes Tornado, Shitload Of Hail

WTF?

Mother Nature well and truly lost her shiz over New South Wales last night, unleashing massive hailstones, gail-force winds, heavy rainfall and flash flooding across parts of the state.
Dubbo was undoubtedly hardest hit, with a MINI TORNADO causing damage to some homes and properties when it ripped through at around 5pm.
Dubbo station officer for Fire and Rescue NSWMick Medlin, told ABC News he saw the tornado develop:
“It looked very ominous, and I pulled over. I had the kids in the car so I stayed at quite a safe distance.

“What we saw develop was basically a mini tornado and we saw large sheets of iron and building material and branches of trees and get sucked back into the air up into the storm cell.”

He caught the tornado’s touchdown on his smartphone:

Social media was inundated with footage of flooding around the Illawarra region and Sydney's CBD.

There was also hail the size of 20 cent pieces raining down on roofs for much of the night.

By 5am, NSW SES had responded to 579 emergency calls for help and attended 34 flood rescues.

The good news is we've seen the worst of it, but there are still severe weather warnings in place for the Illawarra and South Coast areas.
