Netflix has revealed a teaser for Mindhunter‘s second season, giving audiences a split-second of Australian actor Damon Herriman gussied up as cult leader Charles Manson.
Even then, the guy isn’t the focal point of the tense crime drama.
Mindhunter, which follows Jonathan Groff, Holt McCallany, and Anna Torv as FBI assets on the forefront of forensic psychology, will reportedly turn to focus on the infamous Atlanta child murders of the late 1970s and early 1980s.
The trailer shows the investigators seeking insight on that case from Manson, ‘Son of Sam’ David Berkowitz, and ‘Coed Killer’ Ed Kemper (Cameron Britton), the latter of whom was a chilling standout in the show’s first outing.
