Most people would feel short next to Ed Kemper, the American killer who happened to stand over two metres tall, but the new trailer for Mindhunter season 2 wants you to know Charles Manson was short. Shorter than many would assume, given his outsize influence on the latter half of the 20th century*.

The new clip, which appeared online this morning, shows Kemper (Cameron Britton) gesturing to FBI investigators Holden Ford (Jonathan Groff) and Bill Tench (Holt McCallany) before they shuffle off to interview the cult leader (played by Australian Damon Herriman).
While fans of the David Fincher-produced series have been awaiting Manson’s appearance, the latest instalment will actually focus on the Atlanta child murders spanning 1979 to 1981.
