Alright, we absolutely promise this won’t go the way that it did last time, when a Melbourne burger joint decided to offer free burgers for life if you changed your surname to “Burger”, then were subsequently shut down by the very unimpressed state of Victoria.
No, we guarantee that this insane compact you have to enter into with a burger establishment to earn yourself free food is strictly on the level and 100% unimpeachable by the government.
Most “free food for life” type deals are generally kinda shit, but Cafe 51 is offering what seems to be the real deal: a burger every day for the rest of your natural born life – if you get a to-scale tattoo of a burger off their menu.
Whether or not this is worth it depends on a few factors:
- Do you love burgers enough to get a big ol’ tattoo of one?
- Will you get enough burgers to cancel out the $300 – $400 cost of getting the tattoo?
- Do you really love burgers that much? Really?
