Meghan Markle Has Been Making Secret Visits To Victims Of Grenfell Fire

Meghan Markle has reportedly been making secret visits to comfort victims of the Grenfell Tower blaze, The Mirror reports.

The future royal has been twice to the Al Manaar community mosque, one of the first centres to respond to the tragedy and which still supports the devastated community.

“Meghan’s visits mean so much to us,” said a leading Grenfell community member. “She has a special place in our hearts.”

The devastating fires left 71 people dead and shattered the community. Prince William and Prince Harry – who did not accompany Markle on her trips – have both visited the Al Manaar mosque since.

“Ms Markle has regularly been making private visits to organisations as she gets to know the charity sector,” said a royal source.

She and Harry are due to be married in May this year, and is already eschewing traditions: her mum Doria Raglad will walk her down the aisle, and she’ll be the first royal bride to give a wedding speech.

Book May 19 off, folks: there’s royal wedding drinking and embarrassing blubbering to be done.
