A Michigan man has daringly toed the line of taking home the mightiest Darwin Award, after lighting a cigarette lighter to scare away a spider that was on his car, according to 9 News.
The results, predictably, were explosive.
The station attendant reportedly chalked up the incident to stupidity: “He was sorry, he said he didn’t know. It is just one of those things that happen – stupidity.”
Nobody was injured; the petrol pump, however, was reportedly charred to a crisp.
Is stupidity the crime, here? Or the fact that dude hasn’t seen Zoolander?
