This fuck off huge Tiger Shark was found off the coast of NSW’s Tweed Heads today. According to 9 News, the 4-5 metre shark was caught by a licensed commercial fisherman, who clearly had the most fucking terrifying work day of his entire fucking life.
A Byron Bay resident posted photos of the shark to Facebook, with that caption “Yes – it’s real.” The resident believes that the fisherman caught the shark legally, under the Ocean Trap and Line Fishery regulations.
While old mate Snaggly does look like a terrifying, IRL version of Bruce from Finding Nemo, we will say this:
YES, sharks are scary and toothy and we would absolutely shit ourselves if we came anywhere near that bloody huge thing. But no, that doesn’t mean it’s our right to kill them in their home. We’re talking to you, Daily Telegraph journalist Laura Banks.
