Following up four teasers and a set of orgasmic posters, one of this year’s most fiendishly marketed films (second perhaps only to the astounding marketing mogul that is Anchorman 2), the controversial, filthy juice of Lars Von Trier‘s brain and culmination of all the themes in his oft-alarming oeuvre, Trier’s 13th feature Nymphomaniac has finally received the full length, drippingly NSFW trailer it so deserves.
The trailer features unsimulated sex, Shia La Beouf accepting an offer to take a girl’s virginity, Charlotte Gainsbourg torching a car, displays of BDSM, Uma Thurman screaming, nudity galore and a special taste of Lars Von Trier’s garishly evident self-awareness. Due for release on December 25 in Von Trier’s native Denmark, nothing quite screams “Christmas” like this incredibly NSFW, intense psychosexual thriller. Happy holidays.
