The wonderful, albeit gravity-challenged Jennifer Lawrence has crushed the hearts and dreams of fans of crazy-huge franchise The Hunger Games.
Earlier this month, vice president of Lionsgate, Michael Burns, hinted that the studio was toying with exploring new plot lines, spinoffs, and prequels. Everyone obviously lost their minds, because they thought the franchise that they loved so dearly had come to a clear and concise finality, with the release of ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Pt. 2’.
But, now, J-Law has gone ahead and broken your dreams of an everlasting and constant stream of updates from Panem.
At the premiere of her new film ‘Joy’, Lawrence told a Variety reporter that if prequels did happen, Official Face Of The Rebellion Katniss Everdeen would not be participating in them:
“I wouldn’t be involved. I think it’s too soon. They’ve got to let the body get cold, in my opinion.”
