Hundreds Paddle Out In WA To Honour Aussie Surfers Killed In Mexico

Hundreds turned out to Perth’s southern coast today to remember Adam Coleman and Dean Lucas, the two surfers who were killed late last year in Mexico.

Surfers formed a ring of honour in the surf off the coast of Secret Harbour, the pair’s hometown.

The Australian paddle out comes a month after surfers in Mexico honoured the Aussies in the same way.

The pair’s burnt out van was found in Mexico’s Sinaloa region in November. Since then, three men have been detained in relation to their murder. The region is the traditional home of the Sinaloa Cartel, headed by none other than Joaquin ‘El Chapo’ Guzman.

RIP Adam and Dean.
