Seriously, you guys. It’s cold as shit in Victoria today. The mercury has yet to break 10 degrees in Melbourne all day and it looks like staying that way, making it the city’s coldest day of the year. Consistent rain and hail have fallen across the city as a particularly nasty cold front whips up high winds that have battered outer-lying suburbs.

Brrrr. The snow may have stopped falling, but it’s still looking pretty white over Ballarat East #Ballarat #Snow pic.twitter.com/pTVNIkpbf6

The conditions haven’t been confined to just Ballarat either. Nearby town Daylesford, as well as the Grampians and Macedon Ranges are all blanketed in white today. Even the usual seaside town of Lorne has had a heavy dusting, with snowfall reported mere kilometres from the beach. The Falls Festival Instagram account posted this photo of the site of their annual festival taking on an entirely new look.
