Fatman Scoop Is Humbled Scott Morrison Ripped His Song To Make A Shitty Meme

UPDATE: Scott Morrison has accepted Fatman Scoop’s invitation. Dreams do come true.

Rapper Fatman Scoop has finally weighed in on Prime Minister Scott Morrison‘s deeply shitty Libs at Question Time x ‘Be Faithful‘ meme – and it’s safe to say the rapper is pretty chuffed.

He posted the video – which Morrison deleted from all his social media accounts at around 11pm last night – to his Instagram tonight, along with an incredibly long response, the crux of which is that he is hearby inviting our Prime Minister, the man who holds Australia‘s highest office, aside from the Queen herself, to his RnB Fridays Live tour to “watch, dance, and after in the backstage area discuss politics with me” in November.

WOW.

Scoop – whose real name is Isaac Freeman III – writes that he’s only responding now, because he was on a flight to London when the Australian internet gathered together to mercilessly roast our Prime Minister, who had dubbed footage of a boring-arse parliamentary vote with a song in which “Who fuckin’ tonight?” is repeated ad nauseum.

While Freeman says he’s necessarily “apolitical” because of a lack of knowledge of Aussie politics, he is still “humbled” by Morrison’s meme: “Its a humbling experience to be recognized by a high official.

Still, he’s baffled by the backlash: “I just don’t know why they took it down!

Freeman says he was told by a fan from Melbourne that the vid was taken down “because there was CURSING in the song and he has to be Politically Correct!

People! Its a fun PARTY SONG that has no NEGATIVITY or HARM in it!! This used to be the same way(politically correct) that presidents were in the USA but as u can see the bar for a US President being politically correct is VERY LOW! I also thought it was an attempt to reach out to a younger audience. As well as the fact that when my song was really ROCKING Scott was probably in the CLUBS! Hahahahaha!

Dw Fatman, Morrison is with you re: the song’s super “fun” nature, telling reporters today that his critics are “narcs“: “We’re just trying to connect honestly with people, and some of the narcs will get worked up about this sort of thing but it was a bit of fun.”

Here’s hoping Morrison’s ready for a contest of ideas, because Freeman is prepared to not agree with the PM when they finally meet: “I don’t have to agree with your policies but we can have spirited DEBATE about them and you can attempt to walk me through why you think like that.

RnB Fridays Live, hosted by Mr. Scoop, and featuring Usher, Salt N Pepa, Ginuwine and more hits Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney in November. Surely we should now expect to spot Morrison, the member for Cook in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire, getting down to ‘Pony‘ on the DF at Spotless Stadium. Followed by a “spirited DEBATE” about policy with Fatman Scoop of course.

Here’s Fatman Scoop’s full statement:

All My Aussies! Watch And Respond!!!

I am humbled to have my voice rocking in the highest offices of the Australian Government! with @scottmorrisonmp
I was on a flight to London while all of this was happening and I am on the ground now! Just seeing all of it!

As an American, I have to be APOLITICAL because I don’t know the politics, but I can say this:
Its a humbling experience to be recognized by a high official (either Scott or his people thought of me)
I just don’t know why they took it down! my man @bboyjimo said because there was CURSING in the song and he has to be Politically Correct!

I am inviting @scottmorrisonmp to come to R&B Fridays @rnbfridayslive as my guest in November to watch, dance, and after in the backstage area discuss politics with me.

I don’t have to agree with your policies but we can have spirited DEBATE about them and you can attempt to walk me through why you think like that. So someone tag @scottmorrisonmp up and tell him I’m waiting for him to accept my invite!
