Chrissy Teigen has spoken out about the media firestorm currently surrounding Meghan Markle, saying that she fears the effect that the tabloid backlash could have on her health.
Taking to Twitter, she said: “This Meghan Markle shit is hitting too close to home for me. These people won’t stop until she miscarries. Fucking stop it.”
Chrissy Teigen, herself no stranger to intense public scrutiny and backlash, suffered a miscarriage last year after pregnancy compilations.
Markle, currently pregnant with her second child, also revealed that she suffered a miscarriage last year, saying”loss and pain have plagued every one of us in 2020.”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been the subject of intense media attention this week, ahead of their Oprah Winfrey interview, that airs tomorrow.
Unnamed palace insiders have told UK tabloids that the Duchess was a “bully” who drove several staff to quit, while Harry was considered to be her “hostage”.
The couple have denied all media reports, saying that they are “saddened.”
Oprah’s bestie Gayle King has also spoken up about Meghan, saying that she will have some “very serious” things to say about her mental health in the interview, and that it will hopefully change perceptions of her. King said:
“I think by the time the interview is over, people will have a very clear understanding about what went into their thought process [about leaving the royal family]. I believe that that will be the case … Then people can make up their own minds. Because vilified is the word for what has happened to Harry and Meghan, Meghan in particular.”
The Oprah interview is set to air Monday night, Australian time.
