Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Just Announced They’re Expecting Their Second Bébé (!!!)

Meghan Markle, Prince Harry

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, A.K.A Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expecting their second child. Little Archie is going to be a big brother!

Meghan and Harry announced the happy news on Valentine’s Day (it still is on the other side of the world) with a gorgeous black-and-white photo that was taken via an iPad by their good friend and photographer, Misan Harriman.

“Meg, I was there at your wedding to witness this love story begin, and my friend, I am honoured to capture it grow,” Harriman captioned the photo on Instagram.

“Congratulations to The Duke and Duchess of Sussex on this joyous news.”

AWWWWWW.

A spokesperson for the couple also confirmed the news to the press, saying: “We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child.”

Little else is known about Meghan’s pregnancy at the moment, which isn’t too surprising since the couple like to keep things pretty private.

In a heartbreaking opinion piece for The New York Times last November, Meghan revealed she suffered a miscarriage in July. She said she wrote the piece to continue to break down the stigma surrounding miscarriages and to remind people to ask each other, “Are you OK?”

“Losing a child means carrying an almost unbearable grief, experienced by many but talked about by few,” she wrote.

Since officially splitting from the Royal Family last year, Meghan, Harry, and Archie have been living at their Santa Barbara residence in California.

In October, during a conversation with Malala Yousafzai for International Day of the Girl, the parents were asked about their day-to-day in the pandemic.

Harry gushed about being able to witness Archie’s major life milestones.

“We were both there for Archie’s first steps, his first run, his first fall, his first everything,” Harry shared.

Lil’ Archie turns two in May.

Meghan added, “In so many ways, we are fortunate to be able to have this time to watch him grow, and in the absence of COVID, we would be travelling and working more externally, and we’d miss a lot of those moments.

“It’s been a lot of really good family time.”

Congratulations to the stunning family!
