Break Out The Tazos, The ‘Cheez TV’ Lads Are Doing A Live Nostalgia Tour

Warm up the CRT tele and shove a coupla Pop Tarts into yr gob. The 90s are comin’ back, baby!!! Stalwarts of pre-9am viewing Cheez TV have announced a reunion of sorts, in the form of a touring live show that’s set to hit the road this coming January.

Beloved hosts Jade Gatt and Ryan Lappin are back together, and will be hitting up Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Melbourne for what’s said to be a “blast off into a world of live music, Nintendo games, and hip-hop.”

The Cheez TV lads are joining up with US rapper Chris Webby, with the duo serving as a kind-of host/opening act hybrid in which they’ll be hanging out, spinning 90s tunes, answering questions, and – hell yeah – curating Nintendo tourneys.

The shows reportedly carry a 90s dress-up theme, and will have N64‘s rigged up to the big screen so punters can engage in a little good, old-fashioned Mario Kart 64 and Goldeneye multiplayer chaos. Ever wanted to mercilessly rinse fools by dropping a laptop gun in Facility with a gig-sized crowd cheering you on? Now’s your chance.

‘Course it doesn’t actually say it on the ticket or in the venue T&Cs but anyone who selects Oddjob will be immediately kicked out. Them’s the rules.

Tickets for the shows are on sale now via Raptix.com.au, meaning they’re probably the perfect Christmas pressie for that hard-to-buy-for nostalgia nut in the family that we all clearly have.
