Chainsmokers’ Sydney Gig Shut Down After Hella Turnt Fans Storm Stage

The Chainsmokers have made short work of Sydney, managing to incite a small riot in the 5 days they were in town. 
The duo played a surprise show last night at Jam Gallery that got shut down just 2 songs into the set after the overly-frothed crowd rushed the stage and got a bit too loose:



Although judging from the way they announced the show they probably might have been able to anticipate that shit would get a little crazy: 


Because apparently a riot isn’t a good enough reason to stop for the night, they then rocked up at World Bar and played the rest of their set, what a pack of legends.

The Chainsmokers are heading back to the US to play Coachella, which, while arguably bigger, will probably have a lot less stage invasion. Also their banger ‘Don’t Let Me Down‘ just got into the iTunes top 10, why not give it a cheeky listen:
