Two schoolchildren have been critically injured after a car drove into a demountable at a primary school in Sydney this morning.

According to reports, the incident occurred at approximately 9:45am. A car left the road and crashed into the demountable classroom at Banksia Primary School in the city’s southwest.
After the accident, two children are in cardiac arrest, another is in a serious condition, and two others are being treated for minor injuries. Up to thirty people are being assessed, and multiple ambulances are on the scene.
NSW Police have confirmed that the driver of the vehicle is being taken to hospital to undergo blood and urine tests.
