Brisbane’s Worst Teen Breaks Bail At Schoolies

A Brisbane teen – The Worst, in fact – who only five weeks ago appeared before a magistrate and was charged with racially abusing a train guard has reportedly been fined for breaching the conditions of his bail by attending church.
J/k, it was Schoolies.
The Brisbane Times are reporting that 17-year-old Abdel-Kader Russell-Bouzmar – who you might remember from one of the most vile instances of racial vilification on public transport caught on camera in recent memory – was discovered drunk in Cavill Mall on Saturday. Along with an 18-year-old friend, Russell-Bouzmar was the subject of a five minute, self-published video that drew widespread condemnation from as high up as the Prime Minister’s office. Both were last month charged with a number of offences, including two counts each creating a nuisance on a railway, as well as assault occasioning bodily harm and threatening violence, common assault and using a carriage service to menace or harass. It was stipulated that Russell-Bouzmar must thereafter be under the supervision of a parent at all times, except when he’s at work.
After publishing the video, he defended his actions on Facebook, writing “I was just drunk couldn’t remember shit so stop over reacting [sic], but I am proud to be white!”
Russell-Bouzmar appeared before the Southport Magistrates Court on Monday, where he pleaded guilty to breaching the strict conditions of his bond and being drunk in public; he was fined $350 and released ahead of his next court date, scheduled for next week. That should go well.
