‘Bondi Vet’ Needs A New Host & That Host Could Be You (If You’re A Vet)

Vets. They save animals for a living, and are therefore undoubtedly the closest thing society has to everyday heroes (next to “comedy writers”, naturally).
But how would you like to be both everyday, salt-of-the-earth heroes and fabulously wealthy TV stars?
If this objectively awesome, somewhat contradictory dream is for you or your favourite local veterinarian, you’re in luck: WTFN Entertainment, the creators of ‘Bondi Vet’ and ‘The Living Room’, are putting out a public call for the next Aussie star of Bondi Vet.
The call-out comes as former star and host for eight seasons Dr Chris Brown moves on to ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’ and ‘The Living Room’, leaving a big old hole in a surprisingly lucrative TV market.
WTFN’s Director of Content, Steve Oemcke, said they’re looking for an experienced vet who can either work on the Bondi series or even anchor a spin-off:

“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a talented vet with strong communication skills. The person we are looking for must have a proven track record of caring for animals and their owners.

“A recent post on Facebook requesting people to nominate their favourite vets triggered an amazing response, so we have decided to take it one step further and ask the public to go to BondiVet.com and nominate the vet they think could be the New Bondi Vet.”
The new host will join WTFN’s expanding catalogue of vet shows, such as Nine’s upcoming ‘Dr Lisa to the Rescue,’ the UK-based series ‘Vet On The Hill,’ featuring Aussie vet Dr Scott Miller, and a pilot for a US series currently under consideration by broadcasters.

People can either nominate themselves or their local vet here, where they can submit either a video or written message.

Good luck, and Dog-speed, vets!
