Anti-Abortionist Troy Newman To Launch High Court Bid Against Deportation

Notorious anti-abortionist/walking  Troy Newman, who keeps relentlessly trying to make Australia happen, is set to launch a bid against his deportation from Australia to the High Court, ABC News reports.

Yesterday, despite being informed that his visa to Australia was revoked by Immigration minister Peter Dutton, Newman jetted on down to Australia without a valid visa anyway, finding himself detained by Border Force staff at Melbourne airport.

However, according to The Sydney Morning Herald, Newman has since been granted a 24 hour reprieve from the Government, meaning he won’t be unceremoniously slapped with a “return to sender” sticker for at least another day – allowing time for his lawyers to launch their High Court bid against the move.

On 7:30 last night, Newman’s wife Melissa Newman spoke about the deportation: “I don’t know what they’re afraid of. I don’t know what they think he’s going to do here.”

Labor MP Terri Butler welcomed the decision, describing what exactly Australians might be rightly “afraid of” re: Newman, referencing his co-authored book Their Blood Cries Out: “We are talking here about someone who has written a book saying that doctors should be executed for doing something that’s been legal in the US since the 70s.”

Counting down until the temporary ban is lifted for a bye Felicia like no other, tbh.
