Wiz Khalifa To Headline Gig Rewarding Aussie Volunteers, Peking Duk comes too

Produced in association with our mates at Optus RockCorps.

It’s taken you / everyone you know a full seven days to recover from the muddy debauchery of Splendour In The Grass, but what if you could leave a festival feeling fanfriggintastic?

This Unicorn of Festivals does exist, m8s, in the form of the annual Optus RockCorps concert, to be held at Sydney’s Big Top Luna Park on September 30.
The formula is thus: give back to local communities by volunteering four hours of your time, and you’ll be rewarded with a ticket to a live performance by acts including – and this is hot off the presses – Wiz Khalifa and Peking Duk.
You can’t buy a ticket, you can’t win a ticket, you have to EARN a ticket.
Old mate Wiz is super pumped to reward the good-doers who lend a hand to one of a bunch of charity projects in need of help with his ~ only ~ Sydney gig:
“Giving back to the community is something I’m passionate about and support wherever I can. I can’t wait to play in Sydney and see all the Aussie fans.”
Not a Sydneysider? You’ll miss the concert, unless you spring for flights, but you’ll be gifted a $70 Ticketmaster voucher to put towards another gig of your choice.
Warm fuzzies for doing a damn-good deed + a reward you can wrap your ears ’round = high on life.
Register your interest and lock in a space at a project from August 10, at optusrockcorps.com.au.
