Devendra Banhart has a singular kind of Venezuelan sexuality and zany allure that turns straight men gay-ish and lesbians straightish and the rest of us insane with lust. Gorgeous eyewear brand Oliver Peoples has taken advantage of that by casting Devendra and his set designer girlfriend Rebecca Schwartz in the latest campaign. The short film (below), directed by photographer Lisa Eisner, has the beautiful couple doing the kinds of things they (presumably) do day-to-day: bubble baths, toe sucking, spoon feeding each other desserts, laughing in undies on the carpet… The soundtrack is Banhart’s tune “Brindo” and quite frankly I would totally go for a three way if they asked.
