Thomas Mars has a voice like putty, be it Classixx’s Disco dusting of “Lisztomania” or Devendra Banhart’s plaintive take on “Rome”, the Phoenix frontman has a voice that’s as malleable as it is addictive. Considering Mars’ voice is the only constant in the wave of acclaimed Phoenix remixes floating around, we’re thinking that even a six year old on Garage Band could make a killer track with his pipes.
