Purveyors of fine internet content Pornhub are throwing an adult film festival in New York, because of course they are, and tongue-wagging fraggle-slash-endlessly entertaining human headline Miley Cyrus is submitting a short film, because of course she is.
The film, Tongue Tied, has been around in some form for a while now, having played in the background of Miley’s Bangerz tour, and its striking cut-and-paste aesthetic comes courtesy of director Quentin Jones.

Simon Leahy, founder of the film festival, has praised Miley’s entry as “a pop take on S&M,” and adds that that Cyrus is “starting to become more of a contemporary artist.”
It’s not Miley’s first foray into the art world – last year, the singer exhibited a series of sculptures made out of “junk and shit” including plastic toys, joints and a vibrator that a fan had given her.

The festival runs from Feb 27 – March 1 in Brooklyn.
