Miley Cyrus dropped her new pop-happy track ‘Malibu‘ this morning, and literal hours later it’s already hit #1 on iTunes.

It’s a cute n’ breezy love ballad about Liam Hemsworth, which no doubt added to the hundreds of thousands of views so far because for better or worse, we’re all highly invested in this relationship.

“[People] are going to talk about me if I come out of a restaurant with Liam,” she told Billboard in an interview published earlier this month. “So why not put the power back in my relationship and say, ‘This is how I feel?”
