Lana Del Cray took to the hallowed performing ground of the American Idol stage overnight to perform that song you haven’t listened to in a while, Video Games, and the results were – well, enough to keep her out of the bottom two (does Idol still work that way?)
Here’s the kicker. The performance was pre-recorded last week and only screened last night, lending weight to all those slight issues the Internet has with her validity as a live performer. To her credit, on a show famous for its belters it was good to see Lizzie kick it up a notch, if only for a second toward the end of the song. A case of too little, too late perhaps?
