The great institution known as American Idol is approaching its fifteenth, and final, season in the US. Meaning there is now only one more chance for the musical hopefuls of America to strike it rich.
And of the potential unknowns vying to join their place alongside such musical success stories as Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, and… uh… Phillip Phillips, is a plucky young upstart from the south side of Chicago by the name of Kanye.
With his very pregnant and very supportive wife Kim in tow, Kanye tried his hand at an audition for the show, vying to impress the judging panel of industry legends comprising of Harry Connick Jnr, Keith Urban, and Jennifer Lopez.
Will this clearly down-on-his-luck producer-cum-lyricist win his way through to Hollywood?
Will his raw talent be enough to make up for his lack of polish?
Will the song in his heart be enough to warm those of his fellow Americans?
