Unofficial preemptive Vivid: Live curator Kanye West has just debuted a new song ‘Black Skinhead’ on the series finale of Saturday Night Live hosted by Ben Affleck.
Backlit by the requisite snarling Dobermans, (what looked like) black dunce caps and lots of Brick Tamland-worthy loud noises, the heavily percussive and sure to be divisive ‘New Skinhead’ was accompanied by slogans like ‘New Slave,’ ‘Diamonds,’ and ‘Not For Sale.’
Both ‘New Slave’ (the song featuring Frank Ocean he debuted yesterday on 66 buildings across the world) and ‘Black Skinhead’ will appear on Kanye’s new solo record Yeezus due out June 18th.
Ladies and gentlemen, the man you came to see.
