Kanye West tentatively shared the dark, animated music video for ‘Black Skinhead‘ earlier this morning on his WordPress blog. It’s different; it’s not great.
Using the same snarling Doberman imagery that backlit his debut performance of the single on Saturday Night Live, the video consists almost entirely of an extremely-buff animated West doing his best Tupac at Coachella while undergoing the kind of erratic spasms a Sim experiences when you’re feeling out the limits of your God complex by locking them in a room, deleting all the doors and windows and placing a cheap timber cabinet within reach of a dodgy fireplace.
Like a jealous God or a vengeful child, soon after Kanye giveth the music video, Kanye too slowly taketh away.
