Whether or not Alison Wonderland meant to drop an NFL-themed video clip at the same time as Australia loses its shit over the Hayne Plane making the NFL draft matters not: it’s auspicious timing at its best, friends.
Released just now, the video for ‘Games’ – the fourth single from her badass Top 10 ARIA debut album ‘Run’ – shows her shoulder-charging dudes like a pro and making a football jersey look pretty dang hot.
Not content with taking on five buff dudes, the DJ also flexes her competitive muscles at chess, martial arts and a spot of cheerleading.
The video’s director Prad Sen, who also worked with Alison on videos for several earlier tracks, said his aim was essentially to make her the Daria of sports:
“I thought the idea of Alison totally winning at everything but at the same time being really over it and unenthusiastic would be funny”.
