Jarryd Hayne Confirms 49ers Backflip, Signs To Practice Squad

Release the rest of that pent up rage at the 49ers, ‘Straya, because your boi Jarryd Hayne is officially back in the NFL game.

The ex-Parramatta star confirmed that the San Francisco team have eaten a big ‘ol slice of humble pie signed him to its practice squad.
The Hayne Plane will take a spot on the practice squad after the other 31 NFL teams turned down the opportunity to sign him on Monday, following the 49ers’ decision to put him on its waivers’ list after only six games (RUDE).
“Jarryd has done everything we asked him to do,” 49ers coach Jim Tomsula said as way of explaining why he cut Hayne. “We only have 53 spots and I made that decision.”
Even though it’s a *little* depressing speculation the Dallas Cowboys, Seattle Seahawks and Detroit Lions were interested in picking Hayne up were obviously misguided, this does mean Hayne has another shot to prove himself as a budding NRL player / continue building his career with the 49ers.
The 49ers’ backflip on its premmie decision to scrap Hayne comes after an injury-heavy loss to the St Louis Rams on Sunday, with Reggie Bush, who took over from Hayne, and Mike Davis, a rookie running back who a ton of sports insiders reckon should have been axed instead of Hayne, unable to finish the game.

Newly-promoted Kendall Gaskins was left as the only healthy running back, but his performance was srsly underwhelming so not a great time for them.

NOW GET OUT THERE AND SHOW ‘EM WHAT YOU GOT, HAYNE!
