Brisbane’s Violent Soho have extra cause to celebrate this weekend, having picked up their first ever, bona fide number one album with WACO, which has officially hit the top spot in the ARIA charts.
The lads made a post to Facebook on hearing the “mind-blowing” news, telling fans:
WACO has debuted on the ARIA charts at #1 this week. We can’t explain how mind blowing this is for our humble selves but thanks so so much to all you legends out there who’ve picked up a copy so far. Honestly, it means the world to us! Now it’s time to party!!!

Matt Corby‘s Telluric, which debuted at the number one spot last week, was pushed down to number two, while The Drones‘ Feelin Kinda Free debuted at number 12.
