Your mates and ours Violent Soho nabbed the gong for Best Group at the ARIAs this year – and bloody well-earned, if I do say so myself. They played earlier in the night, and it’s honestly a bloody treat to see ’em across commercial screens.
But here’s where it gets endearing – the lads win was so unexpected that they were still downstairs throwing back froths when it was announced, meaning they had to weave their way back up to the stage from below. Cold ones still in hand. Their partners nobly accepted the award on their behalf in their brief absence.

Folks, that’s commitment. To the beers, that is. Music is secondary. The luscious-locked lads also landed themselves a gong for Best Rock Album – and we can salute that one too.
