Karise Eden spent the last week in a bubble of hurried creativity making an album that didn’t exist a week ago. Well, that’s not entirely accurate. All but five of the songs on her debut album, My Journey, which is released today, have been available for download since Eden performed them on The Voice.
In the album the 19 year old covers songs by Etta James, Elvis, and Amy Winehouse and they’re not half bad! – I even searched Twitter and only found one negative comment which is like scoring a Perfect Ten on the social network’s most scathing Hate-o-meter.
In other news, Karise has divulged that she loves the smell of Seal, who bears a scent distinctive and strong enough for Karise and fellow Team Seal contestant Fatai to “always know [Seal] was around”.
