The Jezabels To Premiere New Material At Manning Bar Today

The Jezabels will be playing a one-off warm-up gig today at Sydney University’s Manning Bar, and it’s absolutely free.

Manning holds special significance for Australia’s world-beating quartet (pictured in the campus’ famed graffiti tunnel), who recently debuted at No. 2 on the ARIA charts with their independently released debut, Prisoner. They band formed after meeting at USYD and competed at the university’s band competition (at Manning, no less) way back in 2007.

Doors open at Midday and the show starts at 1pm. There’s never been a better reason to skip that Cultural Studies tutorial.

See you there, rock piglets.
