The Jezabels are taking over the band room upstairs at the Lansy for a whole seven nights straight from August 21 to August 27, with supports changing each night.
In order of the night’s they’re appearing, the supports for the residency are: Didirri (solo), SunscreenSoma SuttonAngie McMahonPlanetBorneo, and Big Time.
The Jezabels’ Hayley Mary has said that the homecoming shows are going to be intimate and fun, and that they’re a great way to come back into the gig scene after being away since late last year.
“We had a few reasons for doing seven nights at the Lansdowne,” she said.

“We wanted to play a bunch of small, intimate shows to our Sydney fans where we could change up the set and play some songs we wouldn’t normally have time for and the reopened Lansdowne represents such an awesome new era for Sydney that it seemed right it should be there.

“But mainly, we felt a sadistic kind of pleasure in making the staff listen to us over and over to the point of sheer disdain.”

Tickets for each night are on sale now over at Oztix. They’re only $30 each, so get ’em before they sell out, folks.
