TELL YA MUM: ABBA Just Performed Together For The First Time In 30 Years

Great news for your mum and possibly you: ABBA have performed together for the first time since 1982, after vowing to never do exactly that.

The four incredibly Swedishly named Swedes Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad were at a private party at a hotel in Stockholm when they got together on stage to sing their 1980 track “Me And I“.
The party was a gathering of friends and celebs celebrating the anniversary of the band’s boys, Benny and Björn, meeting 50 years ago. Agnetha and Anni-Frid were performing when the two came up to join them, to the delight of the assembled Swedes.
ABBA have been adamant about never doing a public performance again, reportedly turning down a cool $1 billion to play after the musical “Mamma Mia!” gained popularity.
Doesn’t look like they’ll be gracing the big stage any time soon but at least you’ll always be able to watch your drunk friends do some of the worst karaoke imaginable to their hits.
