‘Sunrise’ Cops Swift Kick To The Butt, Booted Off Hamilton Island By Taylor

A ‘Sunrise‘ crew have learned the hard way why you don’t attempt to get all up in Taylor Swift‘s business, when they attempted to infiltrate her early birthday celebration on Hamilton Island, only to be booted off.
Michelle Tapper and sundry Seven employees touched down on the privately-owned resort island yesterday, and were promptly met by “half a dozen” security staff at the airport, and informed of a “total media ban” to protect Swift’s privacy.
Tapper told News Corp that she and her crew were detained and had their bags and camera equipment confiscated, before travelling back to the mainland with security staff escorting them.
Speaking after the fact, Tapper fumed about the “outrageous” nature of the media ban, saying “I’ve never encountered anything like this in 20 years of journalism.”
Sunrise later attempted to do a live cross from a boat near the island, before security again approached, on a boat of their own, informing them that they had to leave.
“We weren’t there to break the rules, we never tried to sneak in,” said Tapper, who questioned the legality of being asked to leave while sailing on open water.
Do not defy Taylor.
Selena Gomez, Ed Sheeran and Gigi Hadid are believed to be among the guests joining Taylor on Hamilton Island. According to an obviously-cranky Michelle Tapper, “a number of journalists” are also there. Soz, m8.
Swift is in Australia for two weeks, with her next performance scheduled for Brisbane on Saturday December 5, before two shows in Adelaide and three in Melbourne. She will turn 26 on December 13.
