Police have arrested another one of Taylor Swift’s stalkers who was found lurking near her East Coast home.
TMZ reports Rhode Island police detained a 32-year-old man named David Page Liddle on Friday night after reports that he was acting suspicious at a park in Watch Hill, which is close to Taylor’s mansion.
A passerby called the police after noticing a large metal bat sticking out of the suspicious man’s backpack.
When police arrived at the park, Liddle tried to run but they ultimately caught him.
Liddle told police he’d just arrived in town from New York, and before that he had visited Nashville and Memphis. He allegedly said he was trying to “catch up with Taylor Swift” so she could offer him advice on his music career.
Upon searching his backpack, police found a variety of suspected burglary tools including the aforementioned bat, 30 lock picks, a crowbar, gloves, a flashlight, screwdrivers and a rake.
Liddle was booked with possession of burglary tools and a weapon other than a firearm.
Thankfully, Taylor was not at home when he showed up to her property.
He’s currently in custody on $10,000 bail.
