Stream Kanye West’s New Album Then Watch An Awkward Interview

Happy Kanye West day everyone. Or, based on Mr. West’s ubiquity in 2010, Happy Kanye Year. Happy Kanye Life! From leaked nude shots, banned cover art, ambitious short films and, most importantly, a stunningly realized fifth studio album, Mr. West has been clogging blog feeds and magazine headlines for the majority of 2010. Let us add to the chatter.

First up, you can now stream West’s most recent opus, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, at his official Myspace page. It’s excellent of course, so click here and let that raggedy RZA beat on “All Of The Lights” soundtrack a weekend of closing deals, crushing souls and being boss of everything.

Second, here’s an extremely awkward interview conducted by Matt Lauer of The Today Show. If you follow West on Twitter you may have noticed a post-interview diatribe which read something like this…

“I feel very alone very used very tortured very forced very misunderstood very hollow very very misused. I don’t trust anyone but myself! Everyone has an agenda. I don’t do press anymore. I can’t be everything to everybody anymore. I can’t be everybody’s hero and villain savior and sinner Christian and anti Christ! Everything sounds like noise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EVERYTHING SOUNDS LIKE NOISE!!!!!!! I don’t trust anyone!”

Sure, the points that Lauer raise should be on the table for discussion (West’s George Bush hates black people comment and the whole Taylor Swift debacle) but the way he does it is uncomfortably heavy-handed. Watch below. Again, Happy Kanye Day everyone.
