Kanye West’s New Album Cover Will Feature His Late Mum’s Plastic Surgeon

Kanye West‘s wild ride is showing no signs of slowing down, and earlier today, the rapper announced that the cover of his upcoming album will feature a photo of Jan Adams, the plastic surgeon who performed surgery on his late mother shortly before her death.

In November of 2007, Donda West died of heart disease after suffering post-surgery complications; an autopsy found that “multiple post-operative factors” could have played a part in the death, but while Adams was investigated after the incident, no charges were ever brought.

Overnight, Kanye tweeted out a screengrab of a text message conversation with a ‘Wes.’ He attached a picture of Adams, identifying him as the doctor who performed his mum’s “final surgery”, and asking for album title ideas, saying he wanted to “forgive and stop hating.”

The recipient, thought to be frequent collaborator Wes Lang, suggested Love Everyone, and I guess that idea stuck, because here we all are.

It is unclear whether the rapper has sought Adams’ permission to use the photo, but it certainly seems like Adams is no fan. He says that his reputation has suffered since Donda West’s death, and his medical license was revoked in 2014 following a number of alcohol-related offenses.

In a 2015 interview with the New York Daily News, he said:

“It baffles me when nobody wants to know the truth. I think (Kanye) should stand up and tell the truth, and the truth will set you free. If he had any balls or if he was any kind of man he could (speak up). But the real answer is he probably won’t.”

Kanye caused a stir this week after Tweeting out his support for president Donald Trump and sharing photos of himself in a Make America Great Again hat, attracting criticism from fans and friends and losing followers in the process.

Yesterday, he released a bizarre new track called ‘Lift Yourself‘, whose lyrics mostly consisted of “poopity scoopidy poop”, and after what was likely an act of trolling, he followed up with another new song, ‘Ye v The People‘, featuring T.I.

There is a link below, so if you especially want to hear Yeezy spit a few bars about how he is rocking the Make America Great Again movement, be our guest:
