Melanie Brown, aka Scary Spice, has claimed she and Geri Halliwell, aka Ginger Spice, once had sex. It’s an admission we’re sure has precisely nothing to do with her new book, nor the Spice Girls’ upcoming reunion tour, but it’s an admission nonetheless.

Speaking to Piers Morgan – yes, that Piers Morgan – for his upcoming TV show Life Stories, Brown was led to reveal the circumstances of their apparent fling.
“She’s going to hate me for this because she’s all posh in her country house and her husband. But it’s a fact,” Brown said, according to a transcript published by The Daily Mail.
“It just happened and we just giggled at it and that was it.”
Breezing past the insinuation that posh people are somehow less likely to have same-sex relationships, Brown said “It just happens one time, you talk about it, and it doesn’t really happen again.”
After admitting she once kissed other members of the gang just so they could road-test her tongue piercing, Brown said “hopefully when Geri gets asked that, which hopefully she will after this, she won’t deny it.
“Because it was just a fun thing.”
Halliwell declined to elaborate when the Daily Mail pressed for comment last night.
Brown, however, used the opportunity to comment on her sexuality. The singer and leopard-print advocate said her five-year relationship with a woman “showed me that there are other options out there.”
The Spice Girls, minus Victoria Beckham, are slated to kick off a massive tour around Ireland and the UK at the end of the month. Feel free to speculate wildly about the group’s interpersonal dramas once more.
