The Artist Formerly Known as Prince is being sued by the legal team formerly known as Prince’s legal team.
It has been alleged that the firm, Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler, is owed a princely sum of $708,687.04 in legal fees incurred during his divorce and other subsequent court cases. The marriage annulment of a Prince is often a costly one [Prince Charles will tell you that], but it begs the question: where has Prince’s money been frittered away?
Prince is no stranger to the defendants booth. In 2006 he was sued by basketball player Carlos Boozer after he did a little ‘home maker’, Prince style, by adding purple-coloured stripes to the exterior of the house, which he was renting for $70,000 a month.
