We live for wild and weird celebrity pairings around these parts, but this is the wildest and weirdest in some time: strap in, folks, because if Nicki Minaj is to be believed, then she’s been hooking up with the real Slim Shady himself, Eminem.
Several of Nicki’s recent lyrics have heavily hinted that she was getting a little Eminem action. Her track ‘Barbie Tingz‘ included the lyric “I’m so fly, just bagged a white guy”, while her new collaboration with YG, entitled ‘Big Bank‘, is even more specific:
“Told ’em I met Slim Shady, bagged a Em/ Once he go black, he’ll be back again.”
She posted a lip sync video of her guest verse on Instagram, and yep, it’s all right there:
When a fan in the comments flat-out asked Nicki Minaj if she was dating Eminem, she replied “yes”.
Eminem, it should be noted, has rapped about his thirst for Nicki in the past:

That said, there is a strong chance that Nicki could just be trolling everyone to drum up publicity for her upcoming album, especially since she and Eminem went on to have the following exchange in the comments section of her post:
If this is real, then big congratulations to the happy couple, and if it’s a big fake-out, as we kind of suspect, then big congratulations to Nicki Minaj on a successful PR stunt.
