Celebrity impressions. We’ve all got one in the bag. Most of them are horrendous, let’s be real. But occasionally someone drops one that’s so bang-on, hilariously correct that it’s worthy of a few minutes of our time.
And it’s these impressions that are a staple of Saturday Night Live – a happy pool in which to dive into when the well of original ideas runs dry. Which it does. Frequently.
So here we have the following sketch, in which Nicki Minaj just so happens to belt out a rather uncannily good impression of the Queen Bey herself, Beyoncé.
Outside of that, the sketch features a rather bland Rihanna effort, Taran Killam‘s “a little too good” take on Eminem, the genius concept of getting James Franco to dress up as Riff Raff, and magical shining golden unicorn Kate McKinnon with her ABSOLUTELY FREAKING INCREDIBLE Justin Bieber.
