Nick Frost & Simon Pegg Reunite In The Trailer For ‘Slaughterhouse Rulez’

Nick FrostSimon Pegg. Horror-comedy. That alone should be enough to have you intrigued. Luckily the first trailer for Slaughterhouse Rulez more than backs it all up by looking completely bananas and totally great.

Honestly, there’s not much point in doing anything else here other than showing you the official synopsis, because it sounds so tight.

Welcome to Slaughterhouse, an elite boarding school where boys and girls are groomed for power and greatness…and they’re about to meet their match. This ancient and ordered world is about to be shaken to its foundations – literally – when a controversial frack site on prized school woodland causes seismic tremors, a mysterious sinkhole, and an unspeakable horror to be unleashed. Soon a new pecking order will be established as the pupils and teachers alike become locked in a bloody battle for survival…

So like, Heathers if it was written by H.P. Lovecraft, more or less. Hell yes.

The film was written and directed by Crispian Mills, who you might recognise as the frontman of English psychedelic rock band Kula Shaker (seriously).

The extended cast not only features Pegg and Frost, appearing together in a horror-comedy for the first time since Shaun of the Dead, but it also features Michael SheenAsa ButterfieldFinn Cole, and Hermione Corfield as well.

Legit, just take a look at this trailer. It’s the good shit.

Hell yes. Hell YES.

The film is scheduled for a UK release on October 31st. No word yet on any potential Australian release date at this stage, but good lord let it be soon. KEEN.
