Nelly Has Been Arrested, And Is Facing Felony Drug Charges

Rapper and TV personality Nelly is facing felony drug charges after an arrest in Tennessee on Saturday.
The ‘Hot In Herre’ performer, real name Cornell Hayes, was travelling in a tour bus that was pulled over, for all things, because it was not displaying an appropriate fuel tax sticker from the U.S. Department of Transportation.
Per reports in News Limited, Highway Patrol officers say that they detected the scent of marijuana in the air, giving them probable cause to search the vehicle.
Upon doing so, they discovered “three high-powered handguns”, along with “five colored crystal-type rocks that tested positive for methamphetamine, as well as a small amount of marijuana and other drug paraphernalia.”
The 40-year-old was released from jail on the day of his arrest, but is currently facing charges of “felony possession of drugs, simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.”
Nelly is due to go on a U.S. tour with New Kids On The Block and the remaining members of TLC next month.
